Torrens Island Power Station

The Infrastructure brought into Australia largely as a kit form facility with standard modules fabricated in Europe to European standards and shipped to South Australia for assembly. Many of the European standards for walkways and other maintenance access provisions do not conform to the Australian Standard AS1657. Hallweld Bennett's job was to identify where the structure provided didn't comply with the Australian Standard and provide the necessary upgrades or replacement materials to ensure for safe access for the maintenance personnel.
